We are the proud sponsor of the Kiwanis Club of Brooksville Splash Pad at Tom Varn Park that opened in November 2024 in partnership with the City of Brooksville. This was made possible largely by distinguished member, Geraldine “Gerrie” Bishop, who held various positions with the Kiwanis Club of Brooksville from 2003 until her death in 2017. A significant portion of her donation to the Club were used to fund the splash pad for future generations to enjoy for years to come.
Each year, the Kiwanis Club of Brooksville hosts its Splish Splash event at the park which is a fun-filled day of water, games, and family fun in partnership with City of Brooksville Parks & Rec and the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office. Attendees can cool off at the splash pad, race down the inflatable water slide, bounce in the bounce house, and enjoy delicious concessions, including shaved ice, hot dogs, chips, and drinks. This free community event is the perfect way to beat the summer heat and make lasting memories with family and friends.
